Next 19th June “Pásalo” will mark its 1,000th programme and leave its usual set, situated in K 2000 headquarters, to broadcast live from the open area outside the BEC (Bilbao Exhibition Centre) in Barakaldo.
For the first time in these 1,000 programmes, current affairs will not be the main feature, because K 2000 is preparing a very special “Pásalo”. Iñaki López and Adela González, the host and hostess, will be surrounded by the most polemic and witty guests in these four years. The viewers will see that the regular guests, as well as being brainy commentators, have other hidden qualities and, above all, a great sense of humour.
The professionals who make “Pásalo” possible want to be in the street and near their audience on this special day. After the broadcasting of the programme, a great social event will take place in the BEC with the slogan “Pásalo celebraremos por todo lo alto” (“Pásalo celebrates in style”) to which a large representation of the Basque society has been invited.
And on Friday 20th June the “Pásalo” number 1,001.
“Pásalo”
ETB2: Monday to Friday, 16.00 h

K 2000 will be the company responsible for managing the content of information screens and the public address system in Spanish, English and French at Expo Zaragoza 2008 premises, for which a content production and management unit has been set up in order to provide flexible solutions, with the maximum quality and speed, for the Expo's communication needs.
The three 24 m2 LED screens situated in different areas of the Expo, the one in the amphitheatre, also LED and with a 50 m2 viewable area, and the 24 plasma screens distributed all over the premises will use a clear and easily understandable graphic style, providing information, either in a joint way or different according to the area, on aspects of interest for the visitors: schedule for the day, latest news...
These screens will be managed from an Adtraxion system, which will display the contents generated by the content production unit, made up of copywriters, camera operators, editors and translators.

In a prime-time slot on Wednesday 5th March, ETB 2 is screening La Caja Negra (The Black Box) . This new programme, presented by popular Basque journalist Iaki Lpez, will be taking a fresh look at the most socially impactful events that have taken place in Euskadi over the past 30 years. The air disaster which took place on Mount Oiz; Orozko's controversial crime; the Ortuella Primary School tragedy; and the floods which hit Euskadi in the summer of 1983, are some of the events which will be researched in this novel format.
Each time we tune in, the exhaustive research done by the programme team will help us remember, through interviews with eye witnesses, the most important events of our past. Could something similar happen today? In order to answer this question, each week the programme will recover the figurative "black box" of each of the events and, with the benefit of hindsight, will look for new insights that will shed light on what happened.
La Caja negra (The Black Box), is the second joint production by K 2000 and Salta TV for ETB and will be broadcast every Sunday starting at 10 p.m. on the station's second channel.

The Department of Culture and Communications Media will be installing the Networked Educational Compendium (Compendio Educativo en Red - CER) in the Government of Catalonia's 327 Public Libraries - putting Catalonia on a par with Castilla y León, whose Education Departments have already installed these connections.

K 2000 and ANCORA AUDIOVISUAL with the collaboration of DISCOVERY EDUCATION, are launching an educational product on the Internet, developed as a compilation of pedagogical contents which includes videos, images, texts and glossary of terms.

Info show hosted by Xabier Euzkitze combining information and entertainment.
By means of contrasting opinions as well as the contribution from other genres - interviews, reports, analysis by experts and statements by those affected, etc. - the programme allows the viewer to approach selected topics from Basque and international current affairs, without the frenzied day-to-day pace, analyzing the true dimension of the events; their causes, context and effects.
The main feature of this format - as well as its pace, television tension and its connection to current news - is the specific weight of the viewers' opinions.

Bon appetite! PASALO!
